"Only at the boat can you get red bull and vodka by the pitcher."

Last weekend in Chicago was certainly action-packed. It was really interesting to get to know all the sales guys and administrators that I've known in name only for so long. Each day was basically made up of customers, seminars, and demos; each night was dinner and bars with coworkers. I only had one meal worth speaking of...courtesy of a wonderful traditional french brasserie located downtown. It was found and approved by an Irish coworker of mine who lived in France for 14 years, so the "foodies" of the company all made an evening of wine, frisee salade, escargot, foie gras, lamb, creme brulee and coffee.*

This weekend I'll be in South Bend to show some Michigan folks around as well as meet up with a couple of old friends. It should be great...if it weren't for the fact that I'm on site with a customer I probably would be on the road already.

* that's just what I had. skate, swordfish, steak frites, halibut en papillote, and chicken coq au vin were also enjoyed.
